Craywinckelhof is steeped in history. Its roots date back more than 100 years, to 1893, when Germaan Van Obbergen (the last brewer in 1917) established a small farmhouse brewery between Leuven and Diest. The venture was short-lived, as the Germans confiscated all the brewing equipment during the First World War. In 2010, Louis Schrevens and Maria Van der Elst took over the brewery as the fifth generation of the family. With a passion for brewing and ambitious plans for the future, they breathed new life into the brewery. Craywinckelhof, Wagenhuis and Horst: A Vision with Purpose Craywinckelhof has grown into a unique destination full of life and possibilities. Our beautifully renovated square farmhouse offers a wide range of opportunities, including a picturesque courtyard, several accommodation options, a spacious and elegant event hall, and much more.
